MY THOUGHTS: When it comes to determining what my 10/10 albums are, I tend to be extremely selective, as I decide what’s a 10 based on a combination of personal enjoyment and how long it has resonated with me over time. For me, it’s not as easy to make a full album that I can truly give a perfect score to as making a standalone song that I can give that same score to is. However, after years of only having five albums I’ve listened to that have deserved this score (and also after much deliberation), I’m happy to announce that this very album, Since I Left You, is now officially my sixth ever 10/10. I absolutely adore everything about this album from start to end. This album has honestly the best usage and implementation of samples that I’ve heard on any plunderphonics release (or really just any album ever). The way this group samples things from so many different forms of media to generate a variety of organic moods and emotions is mind-blowing, especially for its time. This is still truly an album like no other. An album with a lot of effort, love, and care being put into every single track here with no negative thing I could say about it whatsoever. It’s so remarkably stunning and amazing that it straight up just hits deep in my soul in all the best ways. Absolute masterpiece!!!

REVIEW: Among the best the plunderphonics genre has to bring and one of the albums of all time. A stone cold classic that is a one of a kind experience and a rewarding masterpiece that is deserving of repeated listens. Super immersive and entertaining without a single moment that fails to impress me. Maybe not a perfect 10/10 in my eyes, but it certainly comes close. Would definitely get a spot in my top 10 favorite albums of all time if I were to make a list.

REVIEW: It’s a masterclass in moulding a sound from other tracks. Very genius and captures the conceptual image of a suave cruise so well! My only gripe is that Flight Tonight could be the most annoying song they’ve ever composed. The vocal samples are so slap dash and too repetitive. The “Jenny Craig” be more an earwig more than an ear worm. Since I Left Yous music video is the best video ever though. Makes me cry more than onions.

REVIEW: Amazingly, absolutely 100% of the entire album is made up of samples from a wide variety of releases. And even if you ignore that fact, it's still a very good album. Most of it is quite calm music. There are some upbeat tracks too, like Frontier Psychiatrist. It was a pretty cool experience, I might even go back to it.

REVIEW: This is a very amazing album. Literally everything from this album is fantastic. The melodies are awesome, the happy vocals and voice samples are fun, the sound effects are cool, and it just sounds like everyone is having a great time at the seashore. This album is definitely in my top 10. Fantastic album.
